A few photos from the first snow for you all! Miss Maya looooves snow. I don’t know who was more excited for the first snow of the year, her or me! Now that we’re 20 some inches in…. she’s alone in her continued love of snow!
Enjoy and I hope you’re staying warm!
It’s happy Wednesday flower time!!
Today’s post features some awesome flowers from the local farmer’s market aaand some great old Ball and Atlas jars that my hubby’s Grandma let us bring home!
Aren’t they awesome? (Flowers and jars) Oh and the box came from Granddaddy’s workshop area.
Oh and Maya wouldn’t sit still for a pretty photo op, but I think I like this even better….. 🙂
Until next week, be sure to stop and find some beauty in each day! ❤
We had the chance to do a bit of farm sitting at Wensleydale Farms in February and boy did it feel like spring! The chickens are having a ball and trying to talk Colton out of building them a coop this summer….
Roosting on the fencing is really where it’s at.
The alpaca are full and fluffy – staying toasty warm in the winter and not quite ready to shed the fiber. It’s quite a bit of time until shearing in May! Isn’t Miss Lexie gorgeous? Love that beauty mark!
Rosie and the other girls even took a jog around the pasture! (photo taken as Rosie started the jog. Don’t worry, the other soon followed!)
And Miss Divya is look as beautiful as ever! We miss having her in Madison but boy is she loving life as the main equine gal! Checkers tried to hog the camera time, this was the best shot I was ‘allowed’ to get that doesn’t include Checker ears, tail, nose, head….
Maya enjoyed her time, as always, and we even took a walk in the woods with one of the barn cats. Maya decided to show her stuff half way through the walk – started pointing at ever stop. She is such a joy to have around.
So that’s some highlights from our February farm sitting. Until next time, enjoy the spring weather!
