Photobook Reviews – Part 2

Today’s reviews are of Snapfish and Walgreens – sneaky in that you can choose to pick up some Snapfish prints/albums from Walgreens!

Snapfish

Overall: 4 stars.

Quality: 4 –  not professional but still very good. Photobooks are drag and drop, layouts are pre-designed but you can change between layouts and backgrounds to fit your needs. I love the matte finish for my photos and they usually have quick shipping. Also – Snapfish usually has some great coupons or deals going on if you get their emails or subscribe to a coupon-ing blog. Recently they had 99 4×6 prints for $.99 and now they’re running a buy one get two photobook deal. The best part of that one? It doesn’t even have to be the same photobook! Just the same cover style. Walgreens:

Overall: 4 stars.

Quality: 4 – like, Snapfish, not professional but still very good. Photobooks are drag and drop, layouts are pre-designed but you can change between layouts and backgrounds to fit your needs.

You can find some good deals for Walgreens photo, they are identical to Snapfish in most of what they offer and their album creation. Like Snapfish you can choose matte finish and have your photos delivered or glossy and pick them up in store. While Snapfish is a great service and it’s nice to see Walgreens recognizing that, I’m not sure why they bother having two sites. Snapfish and Walgreens have a deal for Snapfish users who want to pick up photos in store – why not just extend that deal to Walgreens users who want more photo options?
